Galgos in fiesta

GALGOS IN FIESTA!

It’s my greatest desire to help the Galgos of Spain, and along the way I have been blessed with meeting many people who have the same desire, those already working tirelessly to help the Galgos and those who have read my letters and can't sit back without giving a hand.
I decided I wanted to make something positive happen, so arranged with the Donkey refuge in Malaga our Galgo fiesta. It was a great success. La Cronica Newspaper came and reported on the day, there must have been around 50 people and many many galgos between us and some 4 legged friends who thought they were galgos! Also families without pets attended and had fun. We had a great time, and celebrated their lives in adoption. My thanks go to the Donkey refuge for having us, the many families that attended, and my personal thanks to a special couple Lynda and David Archie and Molly who came all the way from Alicante to support the plight of the Galgos and join in the fiesta, also donated an amazing gesture of coats for the Galgos. My thanks to www.DDEVIDA.org who attended and also to www.scoobymedina.com and El Refugio del Burrito, Malaga. I also would like to thank Jeanette for having contacted me about an abandoned Galgo female who she and her friends rescued from a finca with her 11 pups only 3 weeks old. Now in care and safe in an Association! She is now on to the rescue of another Galgo, a reader of the Inland Trader and now a Galgo carer. Jeanette, thanks for keeping an eye out and helping these forgotten dogs!

Please lets help the Spanish Galgo, and say NO to abuse. From myself and Ambo, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Bleach/desinfectants. Adoptions are by far the best way to help a Galgo, a gift of a new life
Foster homes. Wormers. De-flea treatments. sign petitions (PETA petition on my web)
Pass the word on and say no to abuse. Help an abandoned Galgo/dog
