700 homes will have natural gas Montserrat

Cegas is conducting a six-kilometer pipeline which will shortly supply  700 households in the village. 6 miles of piping will run through the streets Jaume I, Alfredo Garcia Bonaire, Ausiàs March, Valencia and Dos de Mayo, among others. This work has a cost of 500,000 euros, 

"The pipeline has already started and we will soon offer this service to residents," said Raquel Vallejo, delegate of Valencia Cegas Southern Natural Gas. The future pipeline, which will run over 16 kilometers will supply six towns of the Ribera: Llombai, Catadau, Alfarp, Montserrat, Real and Montroi and involve an investment of 3.8 billion euros. The director general of the Department of Energy, Antonio Cejalvo said that "our commitment is that by 2014 all municipalities of 10,000 inhabitants have piped natural gas."
