Javalambre And Valdelinares Ski Resorts

After a slow start to the winter ski season, Spanish resorts are rebounding. Recent snowfall and creative piste maintenance have kept Spanish areas in the game, and additional storms are forecast.

The ski resorts of Javalambre and Valdelinares are less than an hour and a half inland from the centre of Valencia and the sunny beaches of the Mediterranean.

The slopes are ideal for beginners and medium level skiers and there are red slopes for those looking for a tougher challenge. Hands-free lift passes and high-capacity lifts make queuing unnecessary. Snow cannons throughout the resort guarantee snow for the whole season. Javalambre and Valdelinares have opened this season with new freestyle areas for those who want to have a go at jumps and turns. And for those of you who are just beginning in this new ski art form or those who want to improve their style painlessly, there is a 15mx9m inflatable ‘bed’ for you to land on.
Javalambre also boasts a new Snowlab this season, an area specially designed with obstacles to help improve jumping style.
