Dog Grooming

carol_crufts.gif Carol had been competing in England for 20 years and has been very successful with five of her dogs in competing with agility. One called Minnie Mouse (Chocki is her pet name) gained her championship title about four years ago, being the first mini- dog in England to gain the title. Carol states that she has been very lucky in competing at Crufts in agility and has qualified eight years running, both winning and getting placed in many of the events. She has also qualified for Olympia at the Christmas horse show on three occasions and qualified for most of the finals all over England.
Carol now lives in Spain and is training at an Agility Club in Benexana called the Club el Nogeral. It is run by a mother and daughter called Anna Bustamante-Perez and Anna Beltran- Bustamente, and have both warmly welcomed Carol to their club. Carol reports that the members are very friendly and between them have some lovely dogs that are well-loved and well-cared for. Carol has continued her success in Spain and has  won and been placed in most of the competitions she has entered over here. She says “It really isn’t much different to England, so I really am enjoying it. All the competitors are Spanish and although the language is sometimes a problem, dog language is the same all over, so I do manage to get along quite well (at least the dogs understand me!)”
Carol has been living in Spain since last June and has started a dog-grooming business over here, as she has many years experience of dog-grooming in England  and will groom any breed of dog. Her prices start out at 20€ depending on size and breed and the condition of the coat. A typical grooming session includes clipping nails, grooming ears, checking anal glands and bathing.
