Torrevieja feel a slight earthquake of 1.6 degrees

Several residents of Torrevieja (Alicante) have felt a light earthquake of 1.6 magnitude, off the southern coast of the province on the border with Murcia. There has been no personal injury or material, given the low intensity of the tremor.
The epicenter was located several miles out at sea, on the border between Alicante and Murcia. The quake occurred at around 06.00 hours. Although the magnitude of the quake has been low, several neighbors from across the town of Torrevieja have felt the quake.
